About Charles Wiley

Charles A. Wiley was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1962 and grew up in Lincoln Heights, graduating from Princeton High School and Live Oaks Vocational School in 1982 before attending Cincinnati Technical College. In 1993, he founded Black Positive Brothers and Sisters, a non-profit dedicated to empowering African Americans, later establishing Black Positive Brothers/Motivating Youth in 2003. Through his organization, he launched the annual Youth Unity Extravaganza Scholarship Awards Banquet and supported the "Stop The Violence Summit Truce," which helped reduce territorial violence among youth. 

Charles has received multiple awards for his community work, including the "Citizen Of The Week" award and St. Mark Catholic Church's "Martin Luther King Jr. Keeping The Dream Alive" award. In 2001, he started a remodeling business, Quality Home Maintenance of Cincinnati, which he ran until 2008 before launching Y.P. Home Technician Remodeling Company in 2017. 

As an author, he self-published his autobiography, To God Be The Glory, We Must Never Give Up, and later re-released it under the new title We Were Born To Win. A national diversity and motivational speaker, he has inspired many through his talks and radio shows. About Dr. Beverly R. Sargent

Dr. Beverly R. Sargent is nationally certified and licensed counselor. She earned her Master of Science degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University Maryland and her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from the same University. Her training includes Theraplay, Child Centered Play and Sand therapies, and grief and loss counseling. She is a certified Master Gardener for the University of Georgia Extension Service and also certified in integrative medicine with a concentration in nutrition. Dr. Sargent produced a series of radio shows in 2020 for WOL 1450AM; her monthly television broadcasts, (2015-2020), Mental Health Moments were seen daily throughout Prince George’s County, Md., and several YouTube videos (2021) introduced viewers to preserving vegetables. 

She has held memberships in the American Counseling Association, the Association for Creative Counseling, the Maryland Association for Counseling Development, the Association for Death Education and Counseling, the Association for Spiritual, Ethical, Religious Values In Counseling; the Chi Sigma Iota counseling honor society and the Southwest Georgia Master Gardeners organization. About David Jones

David Jones finished a successful 30 year teaching and athletic coaching career before embarking on a new career venture.
In 2012, after 27 years away he picked the trumpet back up and began his career as a professional jazz trumpeter and vocalist. His list of accomplishments includes playing all over the US including performances at Preservation Hall in New Orleans and the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood, CA.

In 2013 he released his debut project "Beautiful Music" on an independent label and placed two tunes on the smooth jazz radio charts worldwide. He has opened for the 70s R and B super group ConFunkShun as well as the legendary Aaron Neville. David also has his own Pandora station, "David Jones (Jazz) Radio."

In 2016 he joined the John Maxwell Leadership Team as a certified speaker following his retirement from teaching. He specializes in Leadership/Personal Development/Team Culture workshops and keynotes for businesses and athletics teams and has spoken to College World Series
participant Auburn University baseball as well as many HS teams and businesses.

About Johnny Henry

Johnny Henry is a native of Soso, Mississippi, widely regarded as one of America’s greatest small towns. After graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1968, Johnny Henry attended Jones County Junior College and then spent three and a half years at Alcorn State University before being drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War in 1973.

He concluded his military service on June 6, 1976, receiving an honorable discharge. Soon thereafter, Johnny Henry enrolled at the University of Southern Mississippi, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. Over the years, he has held numerous jobs that instilled in him acceptance, wisdom, and knowledge.

About Tony Martin

Tony is passionate about helping people discover healing and hope. With a heart for walking alongside others on their life journeys, he embraces the roles of pilgrim, sojourner, and encourager. As the editor of a leading Christian news journal, Tony has found a way to put his journalism degree to meaningful use.
